B. Job Set-Up
(1)Open, safety and tag the appropriate circuit breakers and open for the
appropriate engine : 1KM(2KM).
(2)Make sure that the thrust reverser cowl doors are closed.
(3)Open the right fan cowl doors (Ref. 71-13-00, P. Block 301).
(4)Remove the pneumatic starter duct connection cap and install air motor
ground air supply hose (Ref. Fig. 206).
(5)Pull out the lockpin on the ground operation air transfer pneumatic
valve. Hold the handle in the closed position. Remove the valve port cap.
(6)Remove the ground operation air transfer pneumatic valve cap. Hold the
handle in the closed position to install the Ground Air Supply hose
(Ref. Fig. 206).
(7)Pressurize the aircraft.
(a)Using HP ground pneumatic source
- Connect the HP ground air supply unit to the HP ground connector
NOTE : To do this procedure and to test the ENG2 only, open
____
the crossfeed valve as follows :
- On AIR BLEED panel, 436VU.
. Release the X FEED mode pushbutton switch (MAN legend on)
. Press the X FEED valve position pushbutton switch (flowbar in
line).
(b)Start the APU (Ref. 49-00-00, P. Block 501).
- On AIR BLEED panel, 436VU.
- place APU BLEED switch in ON position
. Put the APU BLEED switch to the ON position (flowbar on the APU
BLEED annunciator comes on).
. Check that the X FEED valve position pushbutton switch flowbar is
in line.
CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE INLET PRESSURE IS ABOVE
_______
25 PSIG (172.4 kPa) TO FULLY ENERGIZE THE SYSTEM.
(8)Energize the aircraft electrical network (Ref. 24-41-00, P. Block 301).
(9)Make sure that the electronics racks ventilation is correct.
(10)Remove safety, clips and tags and close circuit breakers 1KM(2KM),
3KM(4KM), 45KM(44KM).
C. Procedure
(1)At Center Control Pedestal, check that thrust reverser control lever of
the untested engine is below 22•.
(2)At Center Control Pedestal, use thrust reverser control levers to cycle
translating sleeves to stow, deploy, and stow positions.
D. Close-Up
