OUTLINE SPECIFICATIONS

DIVISION 1 – GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

General. It is declared and acknowledged intention and meaning to provide and secure the Interior Fit-Out
of the HAPPY BUBBLES LAUNDRY SHOP located at 4B Belton Place Chino Roces Ave., Cor. Malugay &
Yakal Sts., Makati City complete and ready for use. The showroom shall have refurbishing works for
Architectural, Electrical, and Sanitary provisions.
1.1.Permit Requirements
Shall be the Contractor’s responsibility to secure all permits of every
description required to initiate and complete work under this contract,
except permits obtained by the Owner. The Contractor shall be
responsible of complying with all permits and approval requirements
including Owner obtained.

1.2 Temporary Facilities

Shall be temporary facilities/utilities inclusive of power supply, water
supply board-ups, site safety signage, fire protection/extinguishers,
telecommunication and other necessary items complete

DIVISION 2 – EXISTING CONDITIONS

2.1 Removal and Disposal of Construction Materials

Removal and disposal of existing interior debilitated materials, including
cleaning of minor debris and hauling of construction related garbage out
of work areas should be included.

DIVISION 3 – CONCRETE (Not Applicable)

DIVISION 4 – MASONRY

4.1 Existing Wall

To retain existing wall; shall be cleaned from dust and paint with Semi-gloss
Latex paint.

4.2 Stone Finishes

4.2.1 Laundry Countertop Finish Shall be 12mm thick X 600 X 600 mm synthetic granite.
Color and design as per Architect’s approved sample.

. 4.2.2 0.10m x 0.20m x 0,40m (non-load bearing) CHB for toilet partitions. Reinforcement shall
be deformed steel, Grade 230 structural grade, @10mm diam. vertical bars at 800mm on
center, and 10 mm (diam. horizontal bars at every third course. All concrete hollow
blocks shall be anchored to concrete columns at sides and to beams/slabs at lower and
upper portions.

DIVISION 5 – METALS

5.1 Metals

5.1.1 Photo Wall (Sintra Board Signage) Back Wall Framing Shall be 0.60mm thick gauge
24 x 35mm x 76mm galvanized light steel top and bottom tracks and 0.60mm
gauge 24 x 35mm x 76mm vertical and horizontal studs spaced at 600mm
bothways, complete with screws, accessories and 0.40mm GA. 26 x 25mm x 25mm
corner bead with BPS (Bureau of Product Standards) certification.

5.1.2 Ceiling Framing Shall be 0.60mm thick GA. 24 x 19mm x 50mm galvanized light
steel furring channel spaced at 600mm (max.) on both ways with 0.80mm thick
GA. 22 x 12mm x 38mm carrying channel spaced at 1200mm (max.) on both ways and
0.40mm GA.26 x 25mm x 25mm metal wall angle and metal angle, attached to slab/roof
framing by a suspension clip and 6mm diameter hanger rod joiner spaced at 1200 (max.) on
both ways. Complete with screws, accessories and 0.40mm GA. 26 x 25mm x 25mm corner
bid Ceiling Framing System. Verify drawings for design and details. Submit sample for
Architect’s approval.

DIVISION 6 - WOOD AND PLASTICS AND COMPOSITES

6.1 Architectural Wood work

6. 1.1 Receiving Counter Counter and hanging shelves Note: See Architectural drawings for
layout and detail; submit shop drawings for Architect’s approval. Dimension, fabrication and
installation of information counter shall be based on the actual measurements and
conditions of the site.

6.1.1.1 Receiving Counter Shall be 20 mm thick plyboard Class A in Auto lacquer paint.

6.1.1.2 Counter Cabinet Shelves, Carcass and Drawers Shall be 20 mm thick pyboard in
Auto lacquer paint.

6.1.1.3 Counter – Framing System and Backboards and Supports Shall be 25mm x 50mm,
50mm x 50mm and 50mm x 100mm (KD) Tanguile wood framing, backing shall be
5mm thick ribbon grained plyboard. Color and finish as per Architect’s approved
sample. Provide 6mm x 38mm x 38mm angle bar support for ledge design framing.

DIVISION 7 – OPENINGS

7.1 Doors and Fixed Panels

7.1.1 Sliding Glass Doors with Fixed Panels shall be 12mm thick tempered clear glass frameless
doors and fixed glass panels with “white” frosted sticker film applied on both sides on a
top and hidden bottom u-channel support framing complete with sliding door tracks,
patch fittings with locks and 25mm diameters x 1250mm height solid stainless steel in
hairline finish vertical handle. Submit shop drawings and glass sample for Architect’s
approval. Follow manufacturer’s standard installation procedures.

7.1.2 Wooden Flush Doors shall be 6 mm thick marine plywood on 2” x 6” K.D. Tanguile frame
in auto lacquer paint finish

DIVISION 8 – FINISHES

8.1. FLOOR FINISHES

8.1.1 All floor finishes shall be 0.60 x 0.60 Synthetic Granite tiles. The Contractor shall submit
samples for the Architect's approval prior to installation and/or application.

8.1.2 CERAMIC FLOOR TILES & INLAYS shall be vitrified and unglazed tiles set on 20mm thk. mortar
setting bed with ABC tile grout, use First Lepanto and/or Mariwasa.

8.2 WALL FINISHES

8.2.1 INTERIOR MASONRY WALL FINISHES shall be semi-gloss enamel paint .

8.2.2 Stud Partition (Double-wall Partition) in Semi-gloss enamel paint finish.

8.3. CEILING FINISHES

8.3.1 Ceiling cladding shall be 12 mm thk. Gypsum board on G.I. ceiling suspension system
with flat latex paint finish.

DIVISION – 9 ELECTRICAL

9.1. Complete electrical wiring installation shall be provided for the following:

9.1.1 INTERMEDIATE METAL CONDUITS (IMC)

Shall be hot dip galvanized standard weight pipes, made of mild steel with smooth circular
bore and shall conform to local and U.S. specifications. Conduit shall be in standard length of
3.0 meters including coupling reamed and threaded on each end.

9.1.2 NON-METALLIC CONDUIT (PVC CONDUIT)

CS 40 smooth wall rigid non-metallic conduit conforming to Philippine National Standards No.
14 for PVC pipes.

9.1.3 WIRES AND CABLES

Shall be insulated for 600 volts. Feeders and branch circuit wires and cables shall be TW or
THW as required by the Drawings.

9. 2. General Notes:

9.2.1. The electrical works specified herein shall conform to the provisions of the Philippine
Electrical Code and the requirements of Meralco.

9.2.2 The Electrical construction shall be done under the direct supervisions of a duly licensed and
competent Electrical Engineer or Master Electrician.

9.2.3 Ceiling bracket outlet boxes shall be less than 100mm octagonal except smaller boxes may be
required by particular fixtures to be installed.

 9.2.4 Switch outlets shall be installed at 1.40m above finished floor line while receptacle outlets
shall be installed at 0.30m above finished floor line unless noted otherwise.

DIVISION – 10 WATER SUPPLY

The owner shall make proper coordination with the developer, Eton Properties in order to supply
the necessary water outlets for the unit. From the water connection, the contractor shall connect
the water supply pipe line to the different fixtures as follows;

For water closet : 1/2” diameter

For lavatory : 1/2” diameter

For laundry faucet : 1/2” diameter

For main line : 3/4” diameter

The contractor shall provide and install the water meter. All exposed supply line or pipes to fixtures
shall be nicked plated.
