1. SAFETY
the ability to identify and eliminate unacceptable risks.
2. HEALTH
the degree of physiological and psychological well being of the individual
3. HAZARD
Is a source of potential hazard that can cause damage
4. HARM
Is damage or loss in the form of death, injury, physical or mental illness, property
damage, production loss, environmental damage
5. ACCIDENT
An unwanted event results in injury to people, damage to property, disruption to work
and environmental pollution.
6. INCIDENT
An undesired event, if at that time there was a slight change, it could result in an accident.
7. DANGER
Is the level of danger of a condition where or when a source of danger appears. Danger is
the opposite of safe or secure.
8. SAFE CONDITION
is a condition in which or when the occurrence of a hazard has been controlled to an
adequate level.
9. RISK
Is a measure of the probability of loss that will arise from a particular hazard that occurs.
10. RISK ASSESSMENT
Is the implementation of methods to analyze the level of risk, considering the risk in the
level of danger
11. SAFETY HAZARD
Is a type of hazard that has an impact on the occurrence of accidents that can cause injury
to death, as well as damage to company property

Is a type of hazard that has an impact on health, causes health problems and occupational
diseases.
13. MECHANICAL HAZARD
