project a success or a failure?

A successful project is defined as one that meets the project scope, schedule and cost.

The project should achieve its purpose by satisfying the client needs. In my opinion,

although the project reach to completion, approved and delivered but it is a failure due

to cost and time overrun.

The best thing that went well in project is bringing on board the software expert System

Integrator sigma consulting, LLC to analyse the existing business processes at the

mortgage branch of the First City Bank and develop a software that implements and

configure the ERP system to increase automation of its repetitive operations, integrate

results in collecting incomplete requirements resulted in wrong solution specification.

This was the main reason where things went wrong in the project.

Without proper and complete effective stakeholder requirements you can’t expect the

desired results on board. For that all the stakeholders and interested groups must bring

on to same page and be a part of data gathering / requirement process so that correct

solution specifications were created and in turn the solution was developed and

configured correctly.
