Reviews, Recognitions & Rewards

Performance Reviews
The project manager will review each team member’s assigned
work activities at the project inception and discuss and
communicate the work performance needed. Each team
member will then be evaluated on the basis of targets assigned
and there effective completion. The project manager will then
meet with the CIO for performance appraisals and provide
feedback on employee project performance. The CIO will then
perform a formal performance review for appraisal.
Recognition and Rewards
Not every system can be based around monetary rewards, due
to both budget constraints and because often, personal
recognition can be just as powerful. Project managers can
use recognition as a powerful tool to encourage and motivate
their team when used correctly. It’s also an important way to
know how to motivate your team when the budget is
Recognition and Rewards
can be as easy as going up to the person and shaking their
hand or telling them that you really appreciate what they’re
doing. On a higher level, mentioning their efforts in a group
email or meeting, as well as letting them know you have
informed senior stakeholders of their input can let the team
member know how valued they are on the project.
Also
• Upon successful completion of the application development, a
party will be held to celebrate the success of each team member
with the team members’ families present.
• Upon successful completion of the project, any team member who
satisfactorily completed all assigned work packages on time will
receive a certificate of thanks from the CIO.
• Team members who successfully complete all of their assigned
tasks will have their photo taken for inclusion in the company
newsletter.
