GENERAL MANAGERS
The NSSF seeks to recruit result oriented professional with drive, vision, passion
and enthusiasm to fill the following positions:
GENERAL MANAGER (CORPORATION SECRETARY AND
LEGAL SERVICES)
Reporting to the Managing Trustee, the General Manager (Corporation Secretary
and Legal Services) will be responsible for providing Company Secretarial
services to the Board of Trustees and ensuring the Fund operates within its
established legal framework and complies with statutory and other regulatory
requirements.
GENERAL MANAGER (SOCIAL SECURITY)
Reporting to the Managing Trustee, the General Manager (Social Security) will be
responsible for formulating and coordinating the implementation of policies
and strategies for achieving the Fund’s mandate to register members, col-
lect contributions and subsequently administer member benefits. He/she
will oversee the operations of the Registration & Collections and Benefits
functions of the Fund while ensuring the availability of required knowledge,
skills and tools within the departments so that assigned managers are able
to deliver on their roles by developing and managing the Human and other
resources effectively.
GENERAL MANAGER (INVESTMENTS)
Reporting to the Managing Trustee/Chief Executive Officer, the General Man-
ager (Investments) will be responsible for developing an investment man-
agement strategy for the Fund and Managing the Fund’s investment port-
folio in conjunction with investment/fund managers. He/she will oversee
the operations of the Real Estate Development & Management and Capital
Markets & Actuarial functions of the Fund while ensuring and facilitating the
availability of required knowledge, skills and tools within the departments
so that assigned managers are able to deliver on their roles.
GENERAL MANAGER (FINANCE)
Reporting to the Managing Trustee, the General Manager (Finance) will be re-
sponsible for planning, coordinating, leading and controlling the Fund’s fi-
nancial management, accounting and treasury management activities. He/
she will also ensure that all assets and liabilities of the Fund are properly
accounted for, reconciled and financial reports are properly consolidated in
line with leading practice accounting principles and standards.
GENERAL MANAGER (STRATEGY, RESEARCH AND
MARKETING)
Reporting to the Managing Trustee, the General Manager (Strategy, Research
and Marketing) will be responsible for driving the process of articulating the
Fund’s strategy in line with its mandate and priorities involving periodic
re-calibration of priorities in line with the dynamics of the operating land-
scape. He/she will oversee and coordinate the operations of the Strategy,
Partnerships and Innovations; Marketing & Customer Experience and Re-
search & Analytics functions of the Fund to ensure strategic alignment.
GENERAL MANAGER (HUMAN RESOURCES AND
ADMINISTRATION)
Reporting to the Managing Trustee, the General Manager (Human Resources
and Administration) will be responsible for managing the Human Resource and
Administration functions of the Fund by ensuring that the right strategies and
processes exist for the attraction, development and retention of best-in-
class talent to execute the Fund’s strategy and coordinating all general ad-
ministrative services to ensure availability of the right resources to support
productivity.
GENERAL MANAGER (INTERNAL AUDIT)
Reporting to the Board of Trustees and administratively the Managing Trustee,
the General Manager (Internal Audit) will be responsible for evaluating and pro-
viding reasonable assurance that risk management, control, and governance
systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organization’s objec-
tives and goals to be met.
PACKAGE DETAILS
A three (3) year contract of employment with an attractive and competitive
