Online Investment Proof Submission


Process flow
By clicking on below, list of menu option will appear and employee to click on more to view the
year end proof submission guidelines and some of the formats to be used for submission of
proofs.

Below screen appears and employee has to select Company links and documents to view the year
end guidelines
In the ESS when the employee logs in, Employee can select the option from the list to update the
investment details

Use View Tax Summary & Choose/Edit Tax Option to submit the proof

Use Click here to Declare option against each section to submit proofs against the respective
sections
Amount to be entered in Actual field. Attach file option can be used to attach the proof. Files can
be attached in .JPG, .JPEG, .PDF formats. Attachment size should not exceed 1MB
If the rent amount exceeds ₹ 8,333/- then owners PAN number is mandatory.
Once the files are attached, employee will be able to see the no of attachments uploaded next to
the attach button. So before saving kindly check the details to ensure all files are considered

Similar way, for Section 10 Exemption as well in the below screen bills can be uploaded. If
employee is submitting LTA Claim, need to attach the LTA Claim Form which is available under
Company Links and Documents
Under other Income and Losses, employee can submit Interest on Housing Loan, Income/Lossfrom house
property (Let Out)
Previous employer details have to be updated by the employees who have joined the organisation in
the current financial year i.e., after 1st April 2019, and the details are of current financial year only.
Total Earnings – will be the salary after section 10 Exemption

Above section will be used to update all Chapter VIA (LIC, Mutual Fund, Med claim etc.) investments
and upload the proofs

Once employee attaches the files and saves, they will get a message below the save button mentioning
successfully saved. Please ensure that this message is displayed on the screen to ensure that your
submissions are saved
Employee has to select reports form menu to download form 12BB

Employee has to click on Actual to access Form 12BB


Employee has to take printout of Form 12BB, sign, Scan and upload back using profile option under
menu

Click on Document to move to document upload page


Use the attach option to upload Form 12BB

If any wrong document uploaded, use delete option to remove the file and re upload

Once Proofs are audited by Teamlease, employee can see the Validated remarks in the Proof
submitted page as shown in the below screenshot
Post verifying and hosting the audited status and the remarks, employee will be able to view the
updated IT Sheet online with the effect of the proofs accepted by downloading Income Tax Working
from the reports
