MODULE 1 ANSWERSHEET:

ACTIVITY
1. How would you characterize yourself?
I’m curious and deliberate. I’m a friendly person but choose most few people it depends on
their personality, sometimes I’m confident and then I’m not again. I’m Honest and I’m a
secretive person.

2. What makes you stand out from the rest? What makes yourself special?
I guess what makes me special is being just me. I may not totally confident but want to try
something just to stand out from the rest that will enhance myself.

3. How has yourself transformed itself?


It learned not to be trusting. I used to consider myself a friendly person because I liked to
talk to people and would always choose to think the best of everyone. Then I realized it is
not good at all, by that I had to learn not to be trusting all the time and carefully choose
those who are worthy.

4. How is your self connected to your body?


Myself connected to my body because when myself, my mind thinking of doing something
my body go for it.

5. How is your self related to other selves?


I think when I’m comfortable to other person and we can understand each other.

6. What will happen to yourself after you die?


When I die my physical body die but myself inside which is my soul is still alive and finding a
peace.

Can one truly know the self? Do you want to know about self?
To truly know yourself is when you know who you are, you know what you need to do that no need the
permission from others and trust self.
APPLICATION AND ASSESSMENT

Self is our soul.

Self considering our soul as something eternal and infinite which at the same time
progresses and changes.

Self is that can only be truly known if you can Understand God.

Self is in our mind.

5. Hume
Self is just a bundle of perceptions, feelings and we are aware of our thoughts.

6. Kant
We all have an inner self means is psychological state and rational intellect then outer self
includes our sense and physical world.

7.Ryle
Believed that self comes from behavior that caused by the physical working of the body.

8. Merleau-Ponty
Believed that our self is our physical body.
