Description & Scope

OCP Group and ADNOC Refining had planned to undertake the expansion of a sulphur production plant to increase 50% annual capacity in
Ruwais, the UAE.
The US$75 million project included the following:
1. Construction of sulphur filtration unit
2. Construction of liquid sulphur unit
3. Construction of acid tanks
4. Construction of an air compressor station
5. Construction of a raw material and product handling system unit
6. Installation of boilers
7. Installation of safety and security systems
8. Laying of pipeline
