2. How would the employment distribution by industry be different in 1920 from those in 2005, as seen in the
content section? In your opinion, what are the reasons for this change?
I think the employment distribution by industry would overall be lower in all categories because that is an 85
year difference and in that time lots more tech, medicine, agriculture, manufactures, etc. have been discovered
and have evolved by 2005.
3. Choose a Canadian-made product (e.g., hockey stick) and trace the work involved in getting the product to
the consumer. Include its journey through the primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary stages and
identify some of the typical jobs at each stage. Use the chart on the following page to complete this.
