Job Analysis

Job analysis is the descriptive procedure of all determining all the necessary information
about a particular role or profile. It carries information about the tasks involved in the
job, the knowledge and skillset required to perform the tasks and the responsibilities
and abilities needed to successfully perform those tasks.

Process of Job Analysis includes:

● Developing a Job Description
● Developing a Job Specification

A job analysis can be further divided into two major component:


1. Job Description: A job description or JD is a written described narrative that
conveys the general tasks, other related duties, and responsibilities of a position.
2. Job Specification: A job specification is the list of recommended qualities for a
person to qualify for and succeed in a position.

Product Engineering

Job Title: Product Engineer - New Product Development


Job Location: Kolkata, WB
Role:Design & Development Engineer

Purpose: To develop engineering drawing and product specification by considering


design aspect and manufacturing viability for development of the new product. Engineer
new products and product families for production, working closely with Product
Designers.

Responsibilities:
● Work with other departments parallelly such as research, development, design,
manufacturing sales and marketing providing an engineered, production-ready
solutions.
● Examine and provide feedback for designs and competitor products as and when
needed.
● Validate and/or Modify product road maps created by the Research and
Development team.
● Ensure product development with innovative features
● Improve existing product functionality, cost and quality
● Post-product-development, in-field testing and evaluation with prospective
consumers.
● Develop 2D and 3D designs of the product
● Evolve product specific features and characteristics.
● Develop critical quality parameter for product performance measurement
● Preparing and maintaining the product engineering and production database
which includes details, specifications, analysis and evaluation of internal and
external product ideas.

Relevant Experience: Manufacturing background is preferred with automotive and


consumer durable experience
Experience Range: 5-8 years experience in product engineering and designing
Education Qualification: UG (BE/BTech) or PG (ME/MTech) must be from a top institute

Job Title: Manager - IT Services

Purpose: To support the Delivery Partner by managing and ensuring delivery of


world-class levels of services for new ideas and support of all corporate systems to the
business users for various business verticals of TSK P&M like Planning, operation,
Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Technology Services and Order management Group
etc.

Responsibilities:
● Lead Digital & IT initiatives- Implementing new IT Systems, Modules &
Technologies.
● Collaborating with IT Business Partners to proactively resolve business issues,
implement transformational changes, functional upgrades etc.
● Application Design, Development, Testing and Implementation as per schedule.
Identifying opportunities for improvements in processes / IT systems.
● Implement Corrective & Preventive Actions through system modifications and
enhancements to eliminate the reoccurrence of incidents like Application Bug
fixing.
● Authorization Control & Helpdesk Management – Interaction with External
Quality Assurance and IT Project Teams for adoption of new IT projects eligible
for Maintenance Phase movement.
● Coaching & Mentoring- Periodic Training to Shift Support Staff to handle regular
support and IT issues resolution for smooth functioning of business applications
and conducting User Training to insure system usage as per laid down
processes.
