METACOGNITION
After watching the video, I have learned how important it is as a
1.What did you learn from the future teacher to come up with metacognitive strategies in
video? dealing with the learnings of the students. As a teacher we
cannot always spoon feed students with information and
answers, we also let them think, reflect, and understand the
lessons on their own. And in this aspect, I learned how
metacognitive thinking and strategies plays a vital role which
are very USEFUL and HELPFUL as it clearly be seen in the video
that the little girl enables to be aware on her own learning, and
she is also more likely to be active during the discussion. As a
result, she can identify herself like what she had learned, what
ideas she needed more clarification and etc. This only signifies
that…metacognitive strategies like TQLR helps students
remember, learn, develop and regulate learnings on her own.
And we teachers our role in that kind of learnings is to guide
