INTERIM GUIDELINES FOR ASSESSMENT AND GRADING IN LIGHT OF

THE BASIC EDUCATION LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN

1. As per instruction by the Department of Education, the resumption of

classes for the School Year 2020-2021 is on January 4, 2021. In this
regard, the DepEd is hereby instructed to ensure that schools shall
discuss the Grading System to the parents and guardians of the
learners in this time of modular learning.

2. As part of the mechanism for readiness for the resumption of classes

on January 4, 2021, the BAGONG BARRIO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
shall conduct a PTA meeting on January 8, 2021, Friday, 8:00AM to
10:00AM (Kindergarten to Grade-3) and 10:00AM to 12:00PM (Grade 4
to 6).

RESUMPTION OF CLASSES

VENUE: Bagong Barrio Elementary School Gymnasium

Prior to the Resumption of Classes of S.Y. 2020-2021, Bagong Barrio

Elementary School conducted PTA Meeting headed by Jerry O. Agustin
about the Grading System for this Modular Learning.

The teaching force of BBES discussed the percentage of Written Works

and Performance Task for every subject and other activities that can be
included in the grades of the learners. This meeting enlightened every one
about the grading system in this time of pandemic/modular learning.
