The Bylaws For 2020-2022


Article I. Club Name
The name of the club is Northridge Gaming Club.
Article II. Purpose of the Club
I. Provide a positive forum in which students can be creative, innovative, and
collaborative in their prospective area of interests in various games.
II. Promote Northridge High School through the positive environment of
participating in various games.
III. Provide a collaborative and creative environment for students of various
backgrounds to interact in their passion for games.
IV. Provide a forum for students to learn how to positively interact with one
another.
V. Enhance student knowledge of various games and to teach the benefits of these
games (math, reading, critical thinking, problem solving and social skills)

Article III. Membership


I. Membership is open to any currently enrolled Northridge High School student
grades 6th-12th.
Article IV. Faculty Sponsors
I. There must be a faculty sponsor.
II. II. Sponsors may vote in meetings and participate in all club activities.
III. III. A sponsor must be present at all club meetings.
IV. IV. A sponsor will be responsible for maintaining order within the club.
V. V. The games belong to the founder of the club.
Article V. Meetings
I. General meetings will be held weekly. Meeting locations and times are subject
to change by the sponsor.
II. II. At least one sponsor is required to attend each meeting.
Article VI. Voting
I. Each member may vote.
II. II. All proposed changes (amendments) to these bylaws must be approved by a
majority of the club and club sponsors.
Article VII. Code of Ethics
I. All members will adhere to the Northridge High School Activity Code of
Conduct.
II. The club shall operate under current school policy.
Article XVI. Changes to Bylaws
I. Articles in this set of bylaws may be deleted or modified as deemed necessary
by a majority of the club and sponsor(s).
II. Changes to the bylaws will be done as amendments.
III. A majority vote and sponsor approval is required to make any changes to the
club's bylaws.
