DEFINITION
According to kinder “charts are the graphic aids deviating information in the from of tables,
pictures, graphic and diagram.
PURPOSES OF CHARTS
For summarizing information
For presenting material symbolically
To show continuity in process
For present abstract ideas in visual forms
For creating problems and stimulating thinking
For motivating the students
PRINCIPALS OF PREPARING
1. Should be self explanatory
2. Should be captioned in bold letters
3. High light contrasting features in different colours
4. Should be large enough to see the group
5. Appropriate least size should be 50x70 cm chart paper
HOW TO USE CHART EFFECTIVELY
1) Involve students in preparations of charts
2) It should display the information only about one specific area in the subject.
3) It should not contain too many details
4) It should possess neat appearance
5) Use of pointer to point out specific facts in chart.
6) Chart should be carefully stored and presented for further use
