ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
HALAMANAN SA PAMAYANAN: A LIVELIHOOD PROJECT

In this time of pandemic, people have to find ways to earn for a living even only within the confines of
their homes. In response to this need, the school has extended its projects namely: GPTA’s Gulayan sa Paaralan
and SPG’s Halamanan sa Tahanan to the community. Thus, we have come up with the project, Halamanan sa
Pamayanan: A Livelihood Project.
This is a joint-project of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Barangay Lourdes Sur East and Dr.
Clemente N. Dayrit Sr. Elementary School with the support of the CLEMENDESTEC Faculty Club and General
Parent-Teachers Association which aims to:
1. Disseminate information in the community on the benefits of planting at home.
2. Encourage parents in the community to plant within their households.
3. Provide livelihood options to the participants.

The project started in October 8, 2021, thru a planning meeting attended by the proponent, Mr. Allan D.
Naguit, the then school principal, Mrs. Nenita H. Jorquia, parent representative, Mrs. Almin Olanday, barangay
representatives, Mr. Loyd Nicdao and SK Chairman, Hon. Moniques Guiao, and other members of the faculty.

In the said meeting, a timeline was set as to how the project will be accomplished.

On October 15, 2020, an orientation on the project was held via Google Meet. On this meeting, the
proponent, Mr. Allan D. Naguit, presented the PPT he has prepared and a sample video of Veggie Eskwela
which will be shared to the learners by their class advisers.

After the orientation, the third phase of the project started. Class advisers shared Veggie Eskwela videos
to the learners. These videos were watched not only by the learners, but also by their parents at home.

To monitor the implementation of the project, parents were asked to submit pictures while
planting, growing and harvesting their crops.
