THEME : NATIONAL GREENING PROGRAM
( TREE PLANTING)

Trees are precious gifts from God because they play an important role in our lives. They are one of
the most valuable and important sources of life on the earth.
In the efforts to preserve, conserve and protect Mother Nature the school’s SPG Officers
conducted a tree planting activity. The primary objectives of this activity is to lead/participate in the
national greening program and other environment-related activities. To promote love for the
environment, and to encourage all students to do tree planting in their school and community.
This activity also help connect students to the benefits of trees and foster environmental
stewardship. That’s why the Supreme Pupil Government Officers take an active role in this activity
under the supervision of their adviser, Mrs. Cherry M .Magdaluyo with the support of their principal,
Ma’am Leila M. Dizon.

The SPG Officers and other pupils planted the fruit bearing trees around the school
grounds. Eventhough they felt so tired , they were happy because of their willingness and
commitment for the success of this activity.

After the tree planting activity, the SPG Officers went back to their respective rooms with a
smile in their faces. Each of them was happy about the tree planting experience.
