Venue Hire Booking Agreement

This form contains important information regarding your booking. 90% of the
questions we’re asked are answered here, so please make sure to read it through before
completing.

Please return your completed form to us at least one week from receiving or the date may be taken
by another booking. We understand future gigs may not have full details, but you may send on
placeholder information instead.

Load-in & sound check: Please load in to the venue via the entrance on King Street. A member of
staff will unlock the door for you. Load-in and sound check is from 6pm — earlier is available
upon request.

Door times & curfew: Please provide a running order of set-times for the event. Door times are
flexible, but please make us aware of any changes.

Event curfew from Sunday–Thursday is 10:45pm. Event curfew on Friday and Saturday is
11:45pm. Please co-ordinate with the staff to clear the venue in quick fashion.

Hire fee: The venue hire cost is £50. We request this is paid at least one week in advance of the
event. You can pay this in cash at the bar or by bank transfer to:

Cancellations: If you need to cancel the event, please phone the bar on 0141 553 1638 at least 48
hours in advance. We understand that life can get in the way, but we are unable to return the hire
fee for late cancellations or no-shows.

Miscellaneous information:

The venue capacity is 100 people — this includes performers and staff. Please judge accordingly
for attendees. We operate a strict over 18s only policy. Sorry.

Please send us posters, descriptions and links for Facebook event pages or tickets to include in our
promotional material. The deadline for promotional material is the 25th of the month before your
event.

If you wish to leave equipment overnight, please let the duty manager know and arrange to collect
this before midday.

If you wish to provide a rider for the bands, you are free to do so, but please inform the duty
manager. Due to licensing laws, the rider must be distributed by bar staff only.
Equipment: We will provide a sound engineer and PA (including mics and stands, DI boxes, etc.),
but there is no backline available from the venue. The promoter and bands must co-ordinate this
between themselves. If you have difficulty with backline, please get in touch.

Venue rights: We reserve the right to pull a gig or remove a band from the bill for any reason
we deem suitable. This includes—but is not limited to—underage people, drunk or abusive
audience and band members, threatening or dangerous behaviour, or general inability to behave in
an appropriate manner.

Abusive behaviour towards our staff members from promoters, band members or associates will
result in bans for future nights.

POCKET LIVE! 
Get the 21st of March in the calendars because That Sound and Galaxy Records is bringing the raw
talent of Pocket straight from Perth to Glasgow for their first show in the city! Pocket will be
showcasing both his original Punk/Rock songs and covers from some of his favourite artists.
Along with Pocket, That Sound and Galaxy Records will be showcasing Red Bandit, an upcoming
band from Paisley who is already gaining a rep for themselves after the release of their debut album
in October 2021.  
If you’re looking for a night of great music from Pocket and Red Bandit, be sure to get down to
enjoy their sets.
