What is physical education

- It aims to develop student physical competence and knowledge of movement, safety, and their
ability to use these to perform in a wide range of activities associated with the development of

- Student get a lot of benefits from physical activity education classes. P.E. classes can help
student to become more aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The student can also
retain a higher level of knowledge as a result of the overall health. This knowledge can help
them to make wise decisions concerning their safety, health, and wellbeing.

Improve your mental health and mood

- Regular physical activity can help keep your thinking learning and judgement skills sharp as you
age it can relieve stress anxiety, depression and anger and may help you sleep better. Most
people notice they feel better over time as physical activity becomes a regular part of their lives
because of the feel good sensation you get after doing something physical activities

- If you don’t take time of from your job, you will realize that it can be hard to focus this can also
happen to students. They require more than one break in a day if they focus their attention on
books. T his is why physical education is necessary. When student engage in PE they are able to
burn the excess pent up energy. Pent up energy is often what leaves them fidgeting and without

- Physical fitness refers to the ability of your body systems to wok together efficiently to allow you
to be healthy and perform activities of daily living. Being efficient means doing daily activities
with the least effort possible. A fit person is able to perform schoolwork, meet home
responsibilities and still have enough energy to enjoy sport and other leisure activities

Regression and progression

- An exercise regression is simply an approach to decrease the demand of an exercise or


movement. Conversely a progression does the opposite by increasing the demand incrementally
through minor change
- Progression is necessary In any exercise program to improve strength and endurance. Muscle
must be challenged continuously in order to develop. Muscle will adapt over time to a given
load, becoming more efficient. If your body is challenged beyond what it is used to doing it will
respond by increasing strength and endurance
