Bài làm
Nowadays, with the development of technology and commercial activities, more and more shopping
formats are available today. Not only traditional shopping is only the way for we to buy goods but also we
can get goods and other services on online shopping . It has become a part of our life. However, when you
compare two kinds of these shopping format, It seems like dramatically different formats, but they also has
something in common.
Online shopping and traditional shopping are similar in 4 ways. First, as a consumer, you can choose
anything you like to buy because two kinds of the shopping format can offer you a wide range of selection.
Both can provide you every kinds of goods which from different brands such as Nike, Vinamilk, Nivea,
Colgate,etc.. . Second, both of these shopping format allow the consumer to return the goods and other
kinds of service if the goods have any problems about the size, or it doesn’t meet satisfaction of the
consumer. For example, if your products have any problem or you don’t satisfy with the product, you can
return it to the shop and receive a refund or you can change a new one which more suitable than the old one
based on your choices. There another similarity point is the way they show their product. Both formats can
help us to see the goods that we want to buy. Last but not least, Two kinds of format offer you a variety of
payment methods. Customers can transfer money through their bank card or other applications like MOMO,
VNPAY, ZALO PAY,etc,,…or they can directly give the money to the seller.

Besides their similarities, two kind of these formats distinc at least in 4 things. First, online shopping is
likely to help the customer feel more comfortable than traditional shopping. As opposed to traditional
shopping, you don’t need to walk to from this kind of shop to another kind of shop, wait in a long line, stuck
in a crowded traffic just to buy different kinds of goods. In the online shopping, you can choose any kinds of

goods in many shoppers or companies just on one website. So, in this case, it can be frustrating waste of time
and energy to buy things by traditional shopping. Second, the return system seems like similar but it is very
different because the system of returning goods in online shopping is very complicated. For example, if you
want to return the goods that you have just bought it in somewhere on Internet, you have to go to the post
office and deliver it to the company or shopper that sells the your good, then it will take a lot of time that u
can receive refund as well as the suitable goods you want. In contrast to online shopping, The system of
returning good is simplier than online shopping. Instead of spending a lot of time to wait for a refund or Re-
choosing a new one, you just need to bring your good to the shop that you buy, then the shopper will give
you a refund or change your good with a new one which is more suitable for you without waiting. So, the
process of returning goods in online shopping may waste of time than traditional shopping. Althought both
format can help us to see the product that we want to buy but each format has their own way for you to see
them. For online shopping, you just can only see the goods through pictures and videos that the seller
updates on the website, and of course, you can’t believe whether it is true or not. Moreover, some of the
good feedbacks and assessments in the comment section down below the goods can be made up with the aim
of pursuading customer to buy products. Unlike online shopping, traditional shopping gives consumer a
safer selection because they can go directly to the shop and feel the material of the product or chose a
suitable size based on their choices, so there won’t be any scam when they buy things by traditional
shopping. Last but not least, each kind of format has its own way to hold a sale. With online shopping, we
can add many voucher or discount code to our bill when we pay something in order to save money. These
vouchers or discount codes are available everyday and every time for customer to get it. In contracts to
online shopping, traditional shopping can’t provide customer these vouchers and discount coder, but it will
always hold a sale day in special event. In this day, all the prices of products can be reduced.

Each kind of shopping format has their own differences and similarities, but they also has their own
benefits. So, be flexible to chose what kinds of shopping format when you need to buy products and be a
wise spender in order to save your money and your time! ......................................................................................
