ESSAY QUESTIONS:

1. There are two (2) interacting forces that play a great role in the development of
the individual.

Identify them and explain briefly their influences to your present self.

The two (2) interacting forces that play a great role in the development of the
individual are the hereditary and environment. Hereditary is nature, and
environment is nurtured. Hereditary is what you get from your parents and
ancestors. The environment is the traits that you get from your surroundings. The
traits that I got from my parents are more visible than the traits that I got from my
environment. I don't get easily attached to people around me that's why my traits
are not that affected by my environment. I can confidently say that my
characteristics and traits are good for me, which is from my parents. The world is
so cruel at this moment, I won't allow that to change me.

2. Living in a world when everyone competes in owning excessive material

possessions, how do you differentiate yourself from the many? What are the
specific ways you actually do in prioritizing your NEEDS from the WANTS?

As an imperfect person, I desire some unnecessary stuff too. I knew some

people who became greedy and selfish to acquire things they wanted. That's where
I can differentiate myself from them. I want excessive things, but I do not become
greedy and selfish. To separate my needs and wants, I always ask myself if the
thing that I wished to buy is that important for me, or is it just to cope with the
trends. I always think about if the things that I wanted to buy are worthy it. But
sometimes if I achieve something, I spoil myself for a day. It feels good to have the
things that you desire, but we should not prioritize it especially if that thing can
cause no good to you.

3. How does your spiritual self affect the way you view faith and life in general?

My spiritual self considers faith and life to be important things to value. Faith and
life are strongly intertwined. It is pointless to live without faith in God. Faith without
action is also meaningless. These two things are essential for me because faith
gives me hope that everything will be fine and that there will be a solution to my
problems as long as I live. My spiritual self values my faith and life by feeding them
with God's words and keeping my body healthy. I believe that my spiritual self
affects my views about faith and life. My spiritual self contributes so much to my
faith and life. If my spirit is weak, my faith towards God is weak too. If my spirit is
not active, my body will is not active too.

4. In what way can you convince people to be responsible internet users.

What steps/actions should you take to share the knowledge of taking care of our
digital selves in these pandemic times?

There are many ways how to convince people to become responsible internet
users. I can convince people to be responsible by making myself a role model. In my
social media, I use my own photo and real name so that people will not be confused. I
should also disseminate information on how to protect their accounts and identities. I
can convince people to be responsible internet users by giving them knowledge about
what happens on the internet. I can also emphasize the importance of internet etiquette.
I should also promote media literacy to my friends and family. I should inform them to
never spread their address and plate numbers on the internet to avoid unnecessary
events.

5. Differentiate your IDEAL Self from your REAL Self. What have you noticed?
Are they closely aligned or not? If not, what steps are you going to do to attain
alignment?

My real self isn't all that similar to my ideal self. I am an introvert rather than an
extrovert. If I'm not in the spotlight, I'm at ease. I only have a few friends, but I'm happy
with them. I'd rather have a few genuine friends than plenty of other pretenders. Even
though I am an introvert, there is a part of me that wishes to be an extrovert. I'd like to
socialize more. I'd like to go on adventures with my friends. I should be more confident
with myself and try to step out of my comfort zone. I still love my real self, but I should
try more things to achieve my ideal self.

II. Write TRUE or FALSE.

FALSE 1. Sharing of my personal password online.

TRUE 2. Search information needed for school tasks and outputs.

TRUE 3. Click and add all to be your friends.

TRUE 4. Stick to sites that are safe.

TRUE 5. Keeping in touch with friends near and far through internet.

situation.

TRUE 8. Download pictures related to my online class.
