locomotor and non-locomotor movements.

C. Lesson Proper
a. Discussion
Okay class let’s proceed to our lesson. Our lesson for
today is all about the Locomotor and Non-
Locomotor Skills. But before we proceed, let me
first discuss with all of you our learning objectives
and that is, at the end of this lesson, you are
expected to:
a. Identify the locomotor and non-
locomotor skills
b. Discuss the difference of locomotor
and non-locomotor skills
c. Perform the locomotor and non-
locomotor movements properly *Listen carefully
Let’s start our lesson in locomotor movements.
Locomotor are movements that needs to go to
another place so you can do the movement properly.
There are 8 main locomotor movements and that
the first category is the even rhythm movements
consists of equal, unvarying actions and that is
walking, running, hopping, leaping, and jumping.
The second category is the uneven rhythm consists
of unequal actions and that is skipping, galloping, Yes Ma’am!
and sliding. I will show a picture that contains 8
locomotor movements so that you can be familiarize
to each movements. Is that alright class?

Okay now let’s continue. Let’s proceed to the non- *Listen attentively
locomotor movements. Non-locomotor movements
are also sometimes called axial movements. They
are movements of certain body parts, or even the
whole body, without causing the body to travel.
There are many non-locomotor movements but I
will only give 8 movements which is bending,
rotating, shaking, swinging, twisting, lifting,
extending, and stretching. Yes Ma’am!
I will show some pictures of this so you can be
familiarized on these movements. Is that alright

your choice how you will perform those two
