WEEKLY ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

On-The-Job Training/Field Practice

This is to certify that the undersigned Jomari T. Satorre has performed the specified
task listed below:

Specific Activities/Outputs accomplished and delivered Number of

Date/s Hours
On the first official day of the On-The-Job Training, we were
subjected to basic orientation on installing a basic circuitry.
The following were used in the circuit: Breaker, LED Bulb,
Light Switch, and a two-gang socket. Basically, it was like
one of our laboratory subjects and resembles one of our
activity way back two years ago Basic Electrical Engineering
but condensed, and honestly it was a breath of fresh air,
ever since being cooped-up inside the house. The
orientation were conducted by Mr. Rafael and Mr. Roberto.
Mr. Rafael mostly handles the lecture, whereas Mr. Roberto
demonstrates. A neat and cool trick was shown by Mr.
Roberto wherein he touched the live wire and served as a
conductor, it was fun but it violated basic safety protocol and
should not be tolerated and recreated. After the orientation,
we were divided into groups of three, each group was tasked
to do the basic installation, this would continue until after
lunch. I would say our group did well on the practicum, and
we were the last group to perform in the morning session,
the members were Albarido, Abadingo and yours truly.

In the afternoon session, the remaining groups continued
performing the practicum. After every group were finished,
some members were curious and asked about the different
functions, and different information about the generators
inside the VSU powerplant.

Mr. Rafael conducted a compacted but enriched discussion.

VSU is comprised of four circuits. There is only one
functioning generator here in VSU. The generator can’t
sustain all four circuits. The generator is old. There should
have been a hydropower plant within Brgy. Pangasugan if it
weren’t for greed, people wanted free electricity, the free
electricity outcry of the people doesn’t sit well with the
Return of Investment.

The first day of the OJT was very fruitful and insightful. The
ambiance within the staff of the VSU Powerplant is very
welcoming. It was a productive day.
