WEEKLY ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

On-The-Job Training/Field Practice

This is to certify that the undersigned Rodrigo R. Domingo Jr. has performed the
specified task listed below:

Specific Activities/Outputs accomplished and delivered Number of

Date/s Hours
This is the 2nd day of the On-The-Job-Training Program. The
project that we take on this day is to replace the old water
line as well as put a new sewer line from the sink. This is
where the preparation from the last week paid off since all
the necessary holes are dug and ready for the installation of
pipes.
The 1st we measure how tall or long the pipes that need to
go to the holes. Then we cut the pipes according to our
measurements and then we threaded the pipes so that we
could attached the necessary fittings.
The next thing we did is we removed the old water line
piping, since we have new water lines going to the bathroom
and the old water line was directly going to the kitchen sink.
Before installing the new water line, the new sewer line must
be installed 1st since the water line can be flexible enough to
April 08,
be put on top or the side of the sewer line. Unfortunately, we 8
2022
were lacking the necessary piping for the sink mainly for the
trap but we were able to install the part of the sewer line
going outside.
Then the new water line is installed. The new water line will
be connected to the sink as well as the bathroom. But
according to Mr. Ergie having different water lines for each
room is beneficial since when if there’s a leak in your piping
you can easily observe it. Having different water lines means
you can control if you can turn off and on the water for each
room thus you can use it to your advantage in finding where
is the leak in your piping system. By turning off the supply for
each and observe if the water meter is still moving.
The installation of the water and sewer line, the lines were
ready for the cement in order to cover them as well as keep
them in place.
