On-The-Job Training/Field Practice

Together with Mr. Latras, the whole electricity team was
deployed to two newly refurbished laboratory rooms in the
Department of Animal Science. The task was to install
switches and sockets for the room and for the future
instructors and students to use.

Generally, for the most part we just look and listen as the
workers were installing the socket and switches because the
connection is live, and as trainee the risk of electrocution is
high, and Mr. Latras won’t risk having us electrocuted. For that
day we mostly handled the assembly of the switches and
April 29, sockets making sure its quality of work, since the material

2022 provided by the DAS aide was to be assembled. We also
make sure to install jumper wires on to the switches and
sockets in order to fasten the work of PESMU workers.

By lunch time we were also done with one of the laboratory

rooms, and we head back to the VSU Powerplant to signout
and to take our respective lunch.

On the afternoon session, instead of heading back to the

DAS. We were instead left and are to stay fin the VSU
Powerplant, until we were allowed to sign out and leave for
the day.
