THINGS I’VE LEARNED ABOUT THE LESSONS:

1. Construction is 3D – dangerous, dirty, and difficult

- It means that this job takes a lot of work in order to finish it. Construction
workers have to deal with blood, sweat, and even fatigue. In 3D jobs, the
most important for every worker to know is that there are safety precautions,
dos and don’ts, and especially first aid for those who suffer from possible
injuries that will happen in the construction site.
- Maraming dumi ang makukuha ng mga construction workers kahit sabihin
nating may gloves sila and ano pa. Ngunit may alikabok at usok din na
nakukuha sa construction. Gusto natin na manatiling maganda ang condition
ng mga manggagawa as much as possible. Kaya dapat malinis parati ang
area o dapat iniiwang malinis ang area after gumawa.
- Wala namang trabaho na madali. Lahat mahirap. Pero lalo naman ang
construction, sobrang hirap niyan dahil kailangan natin na dapat malakas ang
katawan, flexible, at syempre magaling gumawa pag dating sa pag welding,
pag gamit ng equipments para sakto yung measurements ng mga gamit, etc.
2. MOBILIZATION – LOW BED TRAILER AND MOBILE OFFICE

Ang mobilization ay pag kilos or pag transport ng mga gamit or kahit na ano just
to assemble things to make it organized. In construction, low bed trailer is used
to transport heavy cargo or heavy equipments in act of service. While, mobile
office is a temporary office na movable in order for a person to work inside and
can go from place to place to assess every situation in construction site.

3. LOCATION MAP – LAYOUT AND STAKING

Layout and staking is used to spot an area na pwedeng gawaan o patayuan ng

building or structures.
 This is a prime example of checking the perimeter and coordinates of an area for
the new building construction. Dito nila tinitingnan kung paano nila patatayuan ng
isang building at inaassess nila dito kung ano ang mga kailangan dito.

4. LOCATION MAP – PROJECT G

- Kailangang specific yung location map at yung distance ng mga specific place
from the site itself. It could be anything. The site could be a new hospital, or
basic needs na kailangan ng mga tao or something that has to do with these
specified places. More importantly, we need to ensure the safety of the places
near the project site that they are not affected from it.
5. ACTUAL SITE CONDITIONS – PROJECT E BUILDING 2

We should check the condition of the area whether if it is a perfect spot na mag
patayo ng building. As we can see, the area is not clean, there are a lot of trash
around it, and the ground is not that flat.

6. SOIL INVESTIGATION

Soil investigation basically means to check kung anong uri ng soil sa isang
specific location. Ito ang very first step para masimulan nang maayos ang
project. But, the most important of them all, the drainage system in the project
site must be in good condition in order to work properly in the ground water.
