Contract # : 11001172/00 CIRCUIT “A” Sheet :1 of 5

Description : 132 KV LINE S/S 8838 – S/S 8824 OHTL Testing Date:17-4-2016

General Information:

Circuit : Circuit –A

Station A : S/S 8838

Station B : S/S 8824

Line Length : 23.75 km

Test Conducted at S/S 8838

Electrical Tests:

1. Phasing Test:

Isolate the three phases from both ends.

Ground one phase from remote end connect the local end with the insulation tester
MEGGER between the phase and ground.
Repeat for other two phases.

Results:

Phase Checked Remarks

B

2. Phase Rotation Test:

Connect 3-phase 380V AC supply (generator) to the line.

Conect phase sequence meter on both ends of the line. Read the phase sequence
At sending and receiving ends.

5. Susceptance Test:

Isolate the three phase from both ends. Connect phase-phase 380 V AC source to the
line. Apply voltage and observe the reading of the ammeter and voltmeter.
Calculate the phase –phase Susceptance as per the formula below.
