Inverter Start up STATUS REMARKS
1. Make sure that all circuit breakers and
switches are open
2. Close the circuit breaker QE
3. Make sure that manual bypass change over
switch QBY is on position1 (AUTO)
4. Close the UPS A/B output breaker Q4A
(Q4B)
5 Set to ON position the selector switch on the
ALR card
6. Close the rectifier output switch QRA (QRB)
7. Close the charger output to battery switch
QBTA (QBTB)
8. Close the mains incoming circuit breaker
Q1A (Q1B)
9.Set to ON position the selector switch on the
ALI, LCID and ALS card
10.Close the circuit breaker CPCA ( B)until the
led on the inverter control logic box are
illuminated
11.Close the inverter input switch QIA (QIB)
12.Open the circuit breaker CPCA (CPCB)
13. Close the battery circuit breaker QB on the
battery isolator box
14. Set the key switch SA1 to close position

15. Wait the AC UPS system is started

16. Close the battery switch Q2

17. Close the on-load switch Q3A (Q3B)

18. Close the QD A AND QD B

19. Close the QI 230A and 230B

20. Close the QI 110 A and 110B
21. Close the Q0 230A and 230B
22. Close the Q0 110 A and 110B
23. Keep Open the QC1 QC2 and QC3
24. All out going load MCB’S close Step by

2. Keep Open the QC1 QC2 and QC3
3. Open the Q0 110 A and 110B
4. Open the Q0 230A and 230B
5. Open the QI 110 A and 110B
6. Open the QI 230A and 230B
7. Open the QD A and QD B

8. Open the on-load switch Q3A (Q3B)

9. Open the battery switch Q2

10. Set the key switch SA1 to Open position

11. Open the battery circuit breaker QB on the
battery isolator box
12.Open the inverter input switch QIA (QIB)
13.Set to off position the selector switch on the
ALI, LCID and ALS card
14. Open the mains incoming circuit breaker
Q1A (Q1B)
15. Open the charger output to battery switch
QBTA (QBTB)
16. Open the rectifier output switch QRA
(QRB)
16. Set to OFF position the selector switch on
the ALR card
18. Open the UPS A/B output breaker Q4A
(Q4B)
19. Open the circuit breaker QE
 3. BLACK START OOPERATION
FOR THE BLACK START OPERATION PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:

Black Start up STATUS REMARKS

1. Make sure that the inverter input switch QIA
(QIB) is open
2. Close the circuit breaker QB on the battery
isolator box
3. Set the key switch SA1 to close position
4. Close the circuit breaker CPCBT
5. Close the battery switch Q2
6. Open the circuit breaker CPCBT
7. Set the key switch SA1 to open position
8. Make sure that manual bypass change over
switch QBY is on position1 (AUTO)
9. Set to ON position the selector switch on
the ALI, LCID and ALS card
10. Close the UPS A/B output switch Q4A
(Q4B)
11. Close the switch CPC/A (CPC/B) until the
led on the inverter control logic box are
illuminated
12. Close the inverter input switch QIA (QIB)
13. Open the switch CPC/A (CPC/B)
