REFLECTION PAPER

(Assignment 6)

Establishing strong relationship between administrators and staff is critical to any


organization's effectiveness. Healthy employee relations can lead to greater fulfillment, more
motivated staff, and a more exciting work environment. Learning how to improve and
maintain strong employee interactions can foster a healthy work environment.

Work motivation and involvement are heightened when teachers and staff have a
positive relationship. Teachers tend to be more productive whenever they are happy at
work. They will devote more effort at work, resulting in positive outcomes in the teaching
and learning process.  Whilst creating and maintaining healthy workplace relationships can
be difficult in most organizations, good relationship among teachers are beneficial not only
to the organization but to the students as well. Thus, developing a healthy work
environment through learning action cells, team-building activities, in-service trainings, and
gender and development are done which in return established an effective employee
relation.

In this times of pandemic, the health and safety of every teacher became an utmost
priority. Public school teachers nowadays were given workload which can increase the stress
and anxiety levels among teachers if continuously bombarded with loads of tasks. Teachers
with poor mental health are more likely to affect one’s productivity and job performance and
commitment to one’s work. Therefore, to reduce or avoid such circumstances, teachers
undergo different psychological trainings to assess our state and help us cope in the stress
that we might possibly encounter. Further, communications to co-were encouraged. In
return, conflicts in the working environment can be avoided.

Teachers are supposed to have dignity and a good reputation while carrying a lot of
obligations through adhering to the professional code of ethics for teachers. This clause
serves as a reminder to us educators in conducting oneself in a dignified manner toward the
school organization and the community. Further, we are expected to embrace and apply this
set of moral standards, norms, and ethics in order to create a healthy and pleasant
work environment. Localized rules and regulation for teachers and staff were also crafted
and implemented for us to be reminded to be careful with our thoughts and actions
especially in the public. It is necessary that teachers maintain a positive image as it may
reflect on the school we are working with at the same time, considering that our profession
is very noble and that our learners looked into it.

Teachers must always adhere and uphold the values that have been established in
schools. With that, working to build a healthy workplace is the most effective approach to
promote that culture. When teachers are not concerned about their working surroundings,
they are more likely to concentrate on giving the best quality of education our learners
deserve to receive.
