The Presiding officer welcome and acknowledge with gratitude the members of
the committee.

Agenda:

The Chairman of the committee recall the minutes of the meeting last March 9,
2022. He informed the body on the on-going project of the municipality which is the
Construction of Barangay Health Station in Pattao with the approved budget of Php
2,250,000.00 funded through 20% Development Fund. Municipal Engineer Agbalog
added that the project started last June 14, 2022 and the timeline of the project is 90
calendar days or 3 months.

Municipal Engineer Melvin Agbalog informed also the body on the proposal
Construction of Super Health Center funded by the Department of Health amounting to
PhP 10,000,000.00 but it is yet to be implemented because we are still waiting for the
DOH to download the fund to the municipality’s trust fund account. The Chairman of the
committee also added that it is called Super Health Center because it will be equipped
with ultrasound, x-ray machine and so on. However, he also informed the body that with
these equipment we also needed to hire additional workforce to operate the said
equipment and we cannot afford to hire due to PS limitations.

CSO Representative Loida Mendoza expressed her excitement and volunteered

herself to work in the Super Health Center to serve the people of Buguey.

This Super Health Center aims to improve the access of basic health services of
the community especially from the rural areas. This is a version of a polyclinic which
offers convenient a quality healthcare services like laboratory services pharmacy, birthing
facility, OPD, dental services and other minor services.
 However, the august body perceived that additional positions are needed to fully
operate the said super health center. In this regard, this positions needed has to be
planned carefully because it will exceed the appropriation for Personal Services.

MPDC May Jocelyn Joan T. Lee reiterated to the body the need to purchase
additional heavy equipment for the collection of residual wastes in all barangays.

MLGOO Josephine Taguinod congratulates the body on the awards received by

the LGU of Buguey and acknowledged the contributions of the body for being top 2
during the 1st Quarter 2022 Regional Subaybayani Awarding Ceremony for Top
Performing LGUs and MLGOOs.

There being no more matters to take up, the meeting adjourned at 11:00 am on
motion of Jane Singson and seconded by LnB Representative.
