I. Title: SNHS Brigada Eskwela Night : A Show for a Cause

II. Rationale:

In consonance with Brigada Eskwela implementation which aims to have a


strong community linkages that will help generate additional resources to provide a
better learning environment, Sogod National High School will be conducting a SNHS
Brigada Eskwela Night : A Show for a Cause, as a Brigada Eskwela innovation
which shall be conducted on the night of the culminating activity.

To solicit maximum participation and involvement of stakeholders, the


proponents prompted to conduct the said innovation on Saturday, rest day of
Sogodanious.

III. Objectives:
a. provide opportunity for SNHS staff to engage into meaningful activities
that would boost their morale and motivation towards work;
b. mobilize Faculty Club Officers’ role in the development of the school;
c. strengthen camaraderie between and among SNHS staff, internal and
external stakeholders;
d. conduct a fund-drive to help support school’s programs and projects.

IV. Mechanics:
1. The said activity will showcase SNHS teaching and non-teaching staff
talents like dancing, singing, stand-up comedy, and fashion show.
2. There will be a ticket amounting P 20.00 while patron ticket with free
dinner costs P 200.00.
3. Proceeds from activity shall be used for the improvement of school
canteen.

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. Title: Zum-brigada 2018


Venue: SNHS- SNHS campus
Sogod, Bacacay, Albay

IV. Rationale:

DepEd adheres heath program in which it includes putting up of water


facilities, conduct of medical/ dental mission, and supports wellness activities. With the
belief that quality teaching results to quality learning if teachers are in good health and
mastery of competencies will takes place if learners are physically and mentally fit.
Since most the teachers and students time is devoted to schooling, they almost forget
physical fitness activities.

Knowing that zumba is an effective exercise to lessen stress and other


health related problems, it is necessary that young and once young should include
Zumba dance in their routine to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Thus, the proponent prompted to conduct “Zum-brigada 2018” to inculcate


the significance of exercise and encourage more stakeholders to visit the school and
participate in Brigada Eskwela.

Objectives:
1. be reminded of the benefits of exercise particularly dancing;
2. establish camaraderie between and among internal and external stakeholders;
3. support the Brigada Eskwela 2018.

V. Mechanics

1. The activity shall be done during the National Schools Maintenance Week,
every 7:00 -7:30 in the morning and 5:00-5:30 in the afternoon.
2. There will be no registration fee.
3. Free water and snacks from sponsors will be served after the Zumba dance.
4. Certificate of recognition will be given to the dance instructor after the
weeklong celebration.

I. Title: “T-shirt Mo, Tatak Ko” : A Free School Logo Printing


Activity
Venue: SNHS- SNHS campus

IV. Rationale:

Wearing of school uniform is necessary so that students will have an


identity and will not be mistaken as bystanders. It is to show their loyalty and establish
sense of unity. However, due to limited number of uniforms of some students, they
could not able to wear it from Mondays to Fridays. With this, white shirt is allowed inside
the premise of the school. To establish wearing of the same logo in their white shirts,
printing of logo shall be done in school.

Thus, the proponent motivated to conduct “T-shirt Mo, Tatak Ko” : A Free
School Logo Printing Activity sponsored by Alpha Sigma Phi Alumni Association.

Objectives:
4. provide free school logo printing;
5. support SHS Program through Brigada Eskwela 2018;
6. promote the wearing of uniform and take pride of school logo;

V. Mechanics
5. This is a one day activity at SNHS SHS building, Sogod NHS campus.
6. There will be no registration fee.
7. Volunteers from Bacacay Printing Association will facilitate the printing of
shirts assisted by the Administrative Technical Committee.
8. Certificate of recognition will be given to the volunteers after the activity.
