EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 2022

THEME:
Youth : Invest in our Planet

This is the moment to change it all — the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on
climate. Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, and
our livelihoods together, we must Invest In Our Planet.

In line with the year’s celebration of the 2022 Earth Day Celebration , various DepEd offices and schools
have initiated various activities that protect the planet and support the call for a healthier and more resilient
planet

We from San Elementary School joins the Earth Day celebration.With the young generations organization in
the school, the Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O) officers together with the Supreme
Pupil Government (SPG) facilitated the said activities. They share their Earth Day pledge as well as the
SFES school head and teachers by changing their profile picture with the theme of Earth Day and posted on
their online platforms committing their pledges on mother earth.

Parents also show their participation by sharing their time in cleaning up the school grounds and planting
vegetables in the school Gulayan sa Paaralan.

Students from all grade levels brought a hanging plastic container that serves as vegetable pot in the school
as part of their Gulayan sa Tahanan project.

And while there is still time to solve the climate crisis, time to choose BOTH a prosperous and sustainable
future, and time to restore nature and build a healthy planet for our children and their children, time is short.
