The Researchers

ABSTRACT

Choosing a right snack is very important to everyone because it serve as aa filling


refreshment. The researchers conduct study about the Muffin Cake De Mercedes Ala Pili as a
new nutritious snack of Senior High Students of San Felipe National High School. This study
used Quantitative Research as a research method and experimental design as a research design.
The researchers conducted a survey questioner and focus group discussion to know the kind of
snack they usually prefer during recess time and to know the level of “Degree of Acceptability of
Muffin Cake De Mercedes Ala Pili among Grade 12 students in San Felipe National High School
SY: 2019-2020”. The researchers analyze, evaluated and interpret the researchers found out that
street food is the most commonly snack that the students usually bought during recess time
which not good for their health. The researchers discovered that Muffin Cake De Mercedes Ala
Pili are accepted by the students.

The Muffin Cake De Mercedes Ala Pili is highly accepted by the students in terms of
smell, taste, appearance and nutritive value. This Muffin Cake De Mercedes Ala Pili is loaded of
many nutrients that can help the body to become healthy. This study can help to the problem of
malnutrition and it can lead for the better, delicious and nutritious snack that is affordable to
everyone. This snack must be serve in the school canteen to help the students to become healthy.
