Subtheme : ptmt learning, the solution for student to avoid learning loss
Wake up in the morning. Not so morning actually. Open the google classroom apps to
check our teacher gives any assignment or list of attendes. And then Go to sleep again. Keep
on repeat repeat and repeat until we dont realize we’ve passed a year with this online learning.
It ain't over till the fat lady sings.

Greetings respected teachers and my beloved friends, my name is luh ayu dipayoni from class
11 Science 7 will be speaking on the topic of “ptmt learning, the solution for student to avoid
learning and relationship loss”

Okey let me ask you a questions do you remember how it feels before pandemic covid
19 started? Laughing without mask in our mouth? Sitting in the same bench with our seatmate?
Yes that very good old days that maybe we can not repeat. The reality teach us to accept that
all of that just become a memory. But live goes on like bts said so why were not move on too?
Yes move on in this word means Stop contemplating the past, start making a new one. And
thats what we called New normal. In education system new normal include ptmt learning who
stands for limited face to face learning.

Ladies and gentleman

We have gone through many obstacles during online school. A few years ago, before
pandemic while i was in middle school, and when our education still normally. Like i had many
friends in the class, i had a teacher who taught me face to face. I still had a little bit struggle to
understand all of the lessons. I remember when i got 60 in science exam. so what we expect
we can absord from online learning? What we expect we can understand any lessons from just
many assignment that our teacher give in google classroom?

Ladies and gentlemen

Our education is a based of our future. Foundation of our future. So what did you expect
our future will be if the foundation still not solid. There are so many lack from online learning.
First of all, the difficulties. Yup The difficulties to transfer all of knowledge when you are not
able to see your teacher. The difficulties to understanding on the subject materials. For example,
the content of reading material delivered online may not be understood by all students. This is
because the material content is presented in the e-book form which is presented per chapter,
teaching materials in the PowerPoint form, and in video form. Students may be able to
understand these materials, but it is not comprehensive. Students understand the material based
on their own interpretation or their point of view. This is evidenced by the number of students
who then phone directly to the teacher to ask for further explanation about the material that had
been presented online.

Based on the experience of another EFL teacher, this online system is only effective for
giving assignments and quizzes to students. This means, in one meeting, if the teacher presents
the lesson material accompanied by assignments or quizzes, students will actively and
enthusiastically study the material because of concerns if the assignment or quiz is not
completed. In contrary, if the teacher posts materials without an assignment, students are only
asked to learn the materials, then students are not enthusiastic in learning them.

Second, the relationship. The relationship between teacher and student also become far
apart as social distancing thing. That is become more obvious if you see a group chat, where
there are a teacher and student. Just few of student who respond the teacher’s questions.
Because its easy to just read all of those messages. Or maybe students are too shy to answer
even though maybe they know the answer.

Ladies and gentleman

I’m one from many other students who also face this pandemic era. I’m also who
understand how hard the learning system trough online learning. And i’m realise the one and
only solution is PTMT. PTMT maybe creates the worryness and awarness from our parents
and maybe ourselves too. Living with virus it seems very frightening. Put trust in our white
blood cells and two dosis vaccines that we got, seems still untrusted. But till when we should
stay still and let our education drop as fast as ligthning. The two point we should focus to build
ptmt such a good solution are health protocol, and consciousness.

Firstly protocol, with all of this virus who scattered everywhere we must obey the health
protocol. Maybe i need emphasize the word “must” because if we see around us there’s still a
lot of people who are being ignorance to the health protocol. And yeah that’s the reason the
increases case of covid-19 right now. So if we are want PTMT going to be well. Protocol is a
must thing to obey.

Secondly consciousness, the realization of we study for our selves and for that we
should maximalizing the chance of study in PTMT. While your teacher is giving you a material,
you should listening and pay attention more than you usually do before pandemic covid-19.
Because ptmt who stands for limited face to face learning, give us limit time to study as well,
so this our chance to aware that we should strive more.

I think all the point i have been told, answer the questions about why PTMT is a solution
for a better education in this pandemic era. I’m sorry if there any fault or maybe wrong word
that i say before. Thank you for attention and stay healthy!
