How does the energy systems work in dance? Explain.

Energy systems are essential to our body since the food that we eat can be generated into fuel
and use it as an energy to do work or any activities specifically for dancing. Energy systems can
provide different intensities which can help to do various movements when it comes to
dancing.

MY FITNESS WORKOUT PROGRAM

- Warm up -

 Neck stretch (8 counts per side)


 Shoulder rotation: clockwise & counter clockwise (8 counts each)
 Waist rotation : clockwise & counter clockwise (8 counts each)
 Knee rotation: clockwise & counter clockwise (8 counts each)
 Arm stretch (8 counts per side, up & down)

Stationary Lunge

 Left knee ( 30 secs)


 Right knee ( 30 secs)

High Knees

 (30 secs)

Squats

 (30 secs)

Bicycle Crunch

 (30 secs)

Bird Dog

 Right arm and Left leg (15 secs)

 Head-to-Knee Forward Bend (15 secs per side)


 Standing quadriceps stretch ( 15 secs per side)

Why do you need to perform flexibility and strengthening exercises to improve performance?
Explain.

Because these will help you increase muscle strength, maintain bone density, improve balance
and reduce joint pain which are needed in order to execute any performances well and avoid
any injuries and accidents.

1. An energy system that uses oxygen is called Oxidative System.

2. ATP-CP stands for Adenosine Triphosphate-Creatine Phosphate.

3. There are three energy systems namely ATP- CP System, Glycolytic System & Oxidative
System.

4. Food serves as the fuel to provide the energy that our body needs.

5. Lactic Acid occurs when our body is working hard.

6. Weightlifting and shot-put are examples of Anaerobic a-lactic acid energy system.

7. Immediate energy systems is also called as ATP- CP System.

8. Aerobic System is the most complex energy system.

9.Oxidative System is the source of ATP during aerobic activities.

10. Mitochondria are referred as the powerhouse of the cell.

activities?

By doing household chores at home, planting any kinds of plants, browse some exercises on
youtube or do something that makes you happy and productive can make you physical and
mental health stable despite of the current situation.

2. How does one's fitness play a significant role in the challenges of daily living?

Doing regular exercise and other physical activities promotes strength not only physically but
also mentally and emotionally. In this time where challenges always with us, we need to be
strong enough to face and fight them everyday.
