COURSE TITLE : AGRICULTURAL CROPS PRODUCTION

NOMINAL DURATION : 616 hours

QUALIFICATION : NC I

COURSE DESCRIPTION :

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable skills and attitudes of Agri-
cultural Crops Production NC l in accordance with industry standards. It covers basic, com-
mon and core competencies in the production of crops such as rice, vegetables, fruits and
nuts as well as many others.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :

Trainees or students wishing to enroll in this course should possess the following re-
quirements.

 Able to read and write;


 With good moral character;
 Ability to communicate, both oral and written
 Physically fit and mentally healthy as certified by a Public Health Officer

 Must be a holder of Agricultural Crops Production NC II or its equivalent


 Must have undergone training on Training Methodology I (TM I)
 Must be computer literate

 Must be a civil service eligible (for government position or appropriate profes-
sional license issued by the Professional Regulatory Commission)
