搭 Uber&问路、回答——
• 问路时，“你能告诉我怎么去……吗？”
Excuse me. Can you tell me how to get to the …?
如：
Excuse me. Can you tell me how to get to the Melbourne University?
你能告诉我怎么去墨尔本大学吗？
Excuse me. Can you tell me how to get to this hotel?
你能告诉我怎么去这个酒店吗？
或者用 Do you know where … is?
如：
Excuse me. Do you know where this hotel is? 你知道这个酒店在哪里吗？
• 搭 Uber 时，要先和司机大概描述你的位置，利用明显地标等，如楼下超市：
I’ll be right in front of the LD Food Store. 我会在超市的正门口等你。
I’m right in front of the … 我就在……的正前方。
如果没有路标，需要说名字，首先你要知道自己在哪条街上，I’m at…
如果是在路口，I’m at … and ….
• 上车之后，如果问到目的地多长时间：
How long is it gonna take? 去那里要多长时间呢？
(gonna 是 going to 的口语省略形式，不要写在书面语中)
如果问以某种出行方式，到目的地多长时间：
How long is the walk from … to ….? 从……到……步行要多久？
How long is the drive from … to ….? 从……到……开车要多久？
How long is the drive from Melbourne to Sydney? 从墨尔本到悉尼开车要多久？

［补充］描述位置的说法：
I’m cross the street from …. 我在……的对面。
• 给别人指路的句子：
Turn left / right and then go straight, and when you see QV, turn left again.
左／右转，然后直走，当你看见 QV 的时候，再左走。
• 如果你要问他是什么颜色的车吗？
Are you the blue Toyota? 你是蓝色丰田吗？
• 有时候需要向司机描述你的穿着或拿了什么颜色的手提箱：
I’m wearing all black / a black sweater with a green suitcase.
我穿了一身黑／一件黑色的毛衣和一个绿色的行李箱。
