A. General:

Damage was avoided during shipment, to all instruments and valves, 32-SAMSS-021,

All exposed finished and machined surfaces, including bolts, are coated 32-SAMSS-021,

Bearings and seal assemblies are fully protected against the entry of 32-SAMSS-021,

B. Improper practices or careless handling are likely to result in pipe damage of the following types:

Dents or ovalness of the pipe due to improper supports, or too widely 01-SAMSS-024,

End damage due to use of improper end hooks for lifting or due to
improper nesting or denesting techniques, or due to longitudinal shifting of 01-SAMSS-024,

Fatigue cracks due to excessive static and cyclic loads as a result of 01-SAMSS-024,
