Q. 11 to 13 carry 5 marks each
SECTION A

1. If f(x) = x2 – 5x + 7, evaluate f(2) – f(-1). 2

2. In the figure, ABCD is a rhombus, in which ∠DAB = 62°. Find the values of x and y. 2

3. In the given figure, O is the centre of the circle and ∠DAB = 50°. Find the values of x and y.

4. The percentage of marks obtained by a student in the monthly unit tests are given
below:
Unit Test I II III IV V
Percentage of marks 58 64 76 62 85
obtained

i) A first class, i.e, at least 60% marks.
ii) Marks between 60% to 80%. 2

5. The probability of guessing the correct answer to a certain question is x/2. If the
probability of not guessing the correct answer to the question is 2/3, then find x. 2

base radius 15cm filled up to a height of 32cm with orange juice. The juice is filled in
small cylindrical glasses(see fig) of radius 3cm up to a height of 8cm, and sold for 3 each.
How much money does the stall keeper receive by selling the juice completely? 5
