Quarter 4 – Module 6: Formulating Evaluative Statements

What I Have Learned

Evaluative statements should be a statement that states one's sound judgement about something
through writing which is supported by reasons and evidence.
Formulating evaluative statements will help you become a better in a way of giving an explanation
by knowing the strength and weakness of something through writing.
The two steps to formulate evaluative statements are: Begin with the positives before you point out
the negatives and suggest a solution/s or suggestion/s on how to improve the written material being
evaluated and provide justification how these will work.
Assertions can be declarative sentences that give one’s belief about something else as if it is true
though it may not be.
The four types of assertion are: Convention, Fact, Opinion, and Preference.

corona virus and do not let corona virus win against us. Example: Positive
