COURSE SYLLABUS
Course Code: NSTP 1 Course Title: CWTS 1
Course Credit: 3 Units Contact Hours: Three (3) hours per week or 54 hours in a semester
Semester/SY: 1st Semester, School Year 2022-2023 Pre-requisite: None

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed for the development of the students as responsible citizens with a strong sense of
nationalism and a profound spirit of volunteerism through programs which will empower them to participate actively in the betterment of life of the members of the
community and prepare them to render selfless service to the nation. The NSTP Law, Good Citizenship Values, Disaster Risk Reduction, Environment
Protection, Drug Addiction, Self-Awareness, and Leadership Training are integral parts of this course.
COURSE OUTCOMES:

1. Develop self and internalize positive Filipino values for harmonious and productive relationship with other workers in community activities.
2. Enhance leadership, teamwork, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills while participating actively in student organizations and supporting national
efforts for nation-building.
3. Recognize the importance of environment protection and disaster risk reduction.
4. Practice good citizenship through involvement in social concerns and in projects designed to attain national development goals.
5. Use talents and education in field of specialization for the improvement of the community, its facilities, and for national service.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) aims to educate individuals to be competent early childhood practitioners working with children from
0-8 years old in various childhood settings(home, community, school, and workplace). It is aligned with the National Early Learning Framework (NELF), the National
Competency-Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS 2017)and the first key stage which is K to 3.

5. Manifest critical thinking and problem-solving skills in planning, monitoring, assessing, and reporting learning processes and outcomes.
