Course
Description
This course is one of the components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) known as Republic Act
9163. You will be trained to maximize your leadership skills and interpersonal intelligence toward community
organizing the development.

Course Outcomes
1. Enhanced civic consciousness by developing values and actively participating in programs contributing to
the general welfare of the society.
2. Preparedness for national defense and training for the safety of the society.
3. Developed literacy, numeracy and critical thinking skills that can help for the learning of children and out of
school youth in the society.
4. Improved skills in the field of education, health, environment safety and morals of citizenry.

Class Policies and Regulations
To maintain and assure that proper etiquette and discipline are still observed even in flexible learning the following rules and
guidelines is advised.
1. Always show respect to your instructors/professors by addressing them as Ma’am or Sir, and even to your classmates by
calling them using their surnames or given names.
2. Give your attention to what is being discussed or said by your instructors/professors especially during synchronous session.
3. During synchronous sessions, students must always observe proper decorum and never wear revealing clothes.
4. Unnecessary posting, tagging and commenting on subject’s Facebook pages should be avoided, especially if not related to
topics being discussed.
5. Facebook pages and group chats ought to be used exclusively by students enrolled in the subject; outsiders should not be
accepted in these private sites.
