The BSN Program aims to develop a professional nurse who is able to assume entry level positions in health facilities or community

COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND CLASS POLICY


Course Requirement An evidence of attaining the above course outcomes, students are required to do and submit the following during the indicated dates
of the term.
A. Grading System
a. Major Exam 60%
b. Class Standing 40%
i. Quizzes 35%
ii. Attendance 5%
TOTAL: 100%
Class Policy 1. Attendance:
 Students are expected to regularly and punctually attend classes.
 LATE MARKS are given to students arriving 16 minutes after the scheduled class period.
 Three (3) consecutive must secure admission slip from the guidance office before entering the class
 7 maximum absences or 20% for the whole semester is allowed, beyond the said number of absences is subjected for FDA
(failure due to absences) (MWF- 11, TTH-7)
2. Uniform and ID:
 Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-uniform day. (not wearing prescribed complete uniform will be mark as absent)
 Wednesday- departmental t-shirt and pants –Ripped jeans and mini shorts are not accepted)
 Friday- Free day or ordinary day. (descent clothing)
 Observe proper grooming and wearing of complete uniform and ID (hair for females should be well tucked)
3. Submission of Requirements:
Requirements are expected to be submitted on or before the deadline, failure to submit on the schedule deadline means NO

4. Dishonesty:
Offences on dishonesty/cheating during quizzes and examination period will be dealt with accordingly as stipulated in the Student
Handbook.
Plagiarism is a crime. Be Original.
5. Using of mobile phones is strictly prohibited when class is on-going.
 Ask permission to the teacher if emergency use of phone is necessary
 Any students caught using their mobile phones will be confiscated and will be given to the office for safe keeping and will be
return after the semester.
6. Don’t use profanity or bad words in any circumstances during class hour.
 Observe respect and proper decorum when talking to classmates and teacher.
7. Observe clean room after lecture hours.
 All Quizzes are announce/unannounced. Making it sure that students study their lessons.
