VISION
To be a successful organization of the youths that prioritize families
in a community that don’t have enough source of light in their homes
at night. C-CABright is the best organization that helps everyone
not only to bring brightness in house but also to enlighten individual’s path.
MISSION
Bring light and safety to deserving people in a community. Light can save
everyone in a dark place and some people use themselves to be a way to
bring someone in a brighter place. C-CABright ensures to be a
community’s light provider even in the simplest way, also an organization
that will bring every individual in the bright pathway. C-CABright will reduce
dark vision every night, reuses things to build new light and recycled
materials to show that “sighting light is everyone’s right”.
PHILOSOPHY

PROBLEM EXISTING IN THE CHOSEN BARANGAY
“Lack of light in some houses in Brgy. Buli, Taal, Batangas”
Our group mate Christopher Atienza observed that their barangay
don’t have much problems except in lacking of light in their barangay’s
street and some of its residence. That’s why our group decided to propose
a program that will help not actually all resident but selected and deserving
residents in Brgy. Buli.

THREE PROPOSED PLANS OF ACTIVITIES
LAMPCRAFT PROJECT (RECYCLED LAMP MAKING)
OBJECTIVES
To influence and help the people to be productive in recycling materials that
will benefit them.
To make the people to be innovative and artistic by appreciating simple
things that comes from trash.
To provide light by using raw materials and creative imagination.
To provide light in homes especially students’ rooms.
SOURCES OF FUNDS
The main materials of this project are recycled materials, meaning we will not
spend large amounts of money. But we still need to buy some stuff like wires, bulbs and
some minor materials to finish the project. So we decided to make Mayor Pong
Mercado as our source of fund.
ACTUAL STRATEGY
1. The project description.
This project will use empty plastic bottles to create shape like a lamp’s shade.
We will also use plastic conduit to protect wires that being used and tiny paper cans as
the container for battery and connected wires. Eventually, the small switch is on the
outside of paper cans.

2. Implementation of the project.
The project will be implemented as soon as possible. We also spend some of
our time to create or make different lamps. We’re giving ourselves time too to browse or
search information about the importance of recycling and the impact of lack of lights on
our community. We also got the idea of making lamp on social media.
a. We chose this project because we know that we can help the people who
needs light or additional light in their house. The Lampcraft Project (Recycled Lamp
Making) helps to give them happiness and light is a key element in our everyday living.
It guides us throughout the day, nudging us to wake in the morning and lulling us to
sleep at night. Without the light, there would be no nightlife.
b. Our group decided to use recycled bottles, pipes or the plastic conduit, LED
bulb, wire and paper cans or other containers. In these materials we’ll show you how
creative we are and how recycled materials turned to be a useful and helpful materials
again.
c. We can commercialize our project in posting in social media and announcing
to the Barangay Buli that we are free to discuss the benefits of Lampcraft. We will also
include its advantages as well as the disadvantages (because everything has
disadvantages) and its help to their lives. We can also teach them on how to make this
recycled project for them to be aware and as their additional source of income.
d. In terms of generating income, our small organization aims to sell some of
Lampcrafts in random places. For the residence of our chosen Barangay, we know that
they will be more creative and they may think better designs to make it even more
useful and beautiful. The residents of our chosen Barangay may use the process in
making Lampcraft that we have taught them to sell it in some purposes; it might be for
decoration or for brightness.

DRAGON LAMPSIGN (RECYCLED LAMPSHADE MAKING)
OBJECTIVES
To promote the use of recycled dragon lampsign.
To implement a new design of light that can help people of the community.
To give happiness by showing the different styles of light.
To increase brightness and enjoyment using lights.
1. Project Description
The project uses other objects for decoration, including wires, plastic spoons
and small bulb. This project was named “Dragon Lampsign” because it looks like an egg
of a dragon and its purpose is to serve as a design in houses. Some lights require more
than just colouring. The original materials are cut in the shape of different styles.
Decorating each lampshade is based on our creativity, for environment protection we
also used different kinds of plastic items to make beautiful lamps and to reduce wastes.

2. Implementation of the project
The project will be implemented as soon as possible. We also spend some of our
time to create or make different lamps. We’re giving ourselves time too to browse or
search information about the importance of recycling and the impact of lack of lights on
our community. We also got the idea of making lamp on social media.
a. We choose this project because we want to raise community awareness about
the importance of recycling. Aside from that we want to help one community to solve the
“lacking of lights in a family”. In addition, we want to inform residents in a community
about having lights in their house are way to secure their family’s safety.
b. In some reason, we are so resourceful in using or making different lights. We
decided to use the used object to have creativity. We used the plastic items that could
be found in a trash cans, like plastic bottles and plastic spoon. We will also buy some
wires and small bulb that can help to implement this project.
c. We decided to use some social media platforms like Facebook, and Instagram.
We’re going to post the picture of our products with description(s), details and also price
(to sell it in random people). Aside from posting, we decided to offer face-to-face tutorial
of Dragon Lampsign making for additional income of residents in our chosen
community.
d. Before we prepared this project, we decided to plan first. After that we used
all information and ideas of each member of groups about something. Our project is not
only for one or two people, but the project is good for one community. And yes, because
of that project we generate and we can save money, why and how?
At first we used our resourcefulness: characteristics that can help to save our
environment. Second, this project took a long time and that’s the proof that our
products/projects are good. Third, this project reflects us as a caring and creative youth.

And last, our project can give happiness and excitement in your faces because of its
design.
FlashLite (Recycled Flashlight Making)
OBJECTIVES
To promote the 3Rs, especially the recycle way to lessen pollution.
To enable those persons to have lights in a more affordable cost.
To have ready and creative flash light during an emergency.
To inform and share knowledge the importance of recycling for the community
and environment.
1. The project we have chosen — FlashLite is a recycled flashlight made of plastic
bottles and popsicle sticks. This contains battery inside that is stocked in place. Its color
can be customized or you can use the main color and original color of the bottle that will
use. Aside from this, there’s also an on-off switch that can be found here for easy
operation.
Rizal College of Taal
Calle Gliceria Marella, Taal, Batangas
2. Implementation of the project
The project will be implemented as soon as possible. We also spend some of our
time to create or make different lamps. We’re giving ourselves time too to browse or
search information about the importance of recycling and the impact of lack of lights on
our community. We also got the idea of making lamp on social media.
a. Due to necessity of people, we have chosen this project. Based on our
observation, during emergencies, only few have their own flashlights to light their
houses. Another reason is to help to promote 3Rs, particularly the “recycle” is to lessen
the pollution and problem brought by plastic materials. With the help of this project, we
can lessen the environmental problems and sustain the people’s needs.
b. Since the main material that we are going to use is plastic bottles, we can
acquire it through collecting bottles from the street or buying it from junk shop with an
affordable price. We can also buy the batteries and popsicle sticks from a convenient
store. And the money that we are going to use is from our source of fund and we will
budget it.
c. We will commercialize this project through giving out flyers or post it online. By
posting it online, we will be able to share them the uses and advantage of buying this
item. We can also include the price and materials used to make it for them to have
enough information.
d. We can assure that the project we proposed will generate an income by using
plastic bottles that are available in a cheap price and are recyclable. They can buy this
project for a very affordable price. Since it is not that expensive, but is indeed helpful,
we can assure that people will choose to buy it instead of buying expensive flashlights.
They will also consider the fact that it is environmental-friendly.
