ERDOX TERRA
MONO-ANCHORED MODULAR SYSTEM FOR THE REPROFILING OF SLOPES

Mono-anchored ErdoX Terra structures are the best solution

for reprofiling and stabilizing works on slopes affected by
surficial gravitational problems. ErdoX Terra structures are
easy to install, safe and cost-effective thanks to the versatility
and low weight of each structure.

ErdoX Terra is an isostatic structure, having a pyramidal shape

with fixed dimensions. The front support structure, having a St.
Andrew's cross shape, is made of high resistance steel beams,
to hold the steel retaining mesh. The loads acting on the front
facing are transferred to the foundations through a connection
element, made of a hollow steel section. This element is
connected to the central node of the retaining structure
through a central spherical joint with limited rotation, and to the
front beams through steel bracing ropes. The material is
retained by a principal steel mesh, made of a steel wire rope
panel, combined with a secondary net made of double twisted
steel wire mesh for the small debris. The high-strength ErdoX Terra Structure: foundation with plate
spherical central node is extremely important for the correct
functioning of the structure, because it allows to obtain a
multidirectional hinge joint between the facing and the
connection profile with the anchor: this element allows to adapt
the structure to the conformation of the ground and to the
geomorphological variations that develop over time, without
transferring unexpected stresses to the structure.
The ErdoX Terra anchoring can be realized with different
solutions aimed to counteract the project thrust: tieback
anchors, micropiles, precast plates made of reinforced
concrete and/or steel.

Erdox Terra structures are characterized by an optimal

resistance to corrosion because realized with hot dip galvanized
steel profiles (UNI EN ISO 1461), and with hot dip galvanized in
Class A steel wire ropes and steel wire rope panels (UNI EN
12385-2-4, UNI EN 10244-2, UNI EN 10264-2).
