SIMPLE CATAPULT

What is a catapult?
Mechanism for forcefully propelling stones, spears, or other projectile,
In use mainly in the army as a military weapon since ancient times.
Purpose: To design a catapult that can launch a Ping-Pong ball that
weights 2.7 grams. I aim to build a catapult that a Ping-Pong ball attains
the longest range and to be able to shot at different angles and must be
made out of household materials only.

Materials used:
-10 Different colored popsicles stick
-Sanrio rubber band/ plain rubber
-Glue Gun and stick
-Spoon
-1 Ping-pong ball
Testing the catapult:
-At ground level, the catapult threw the ball at a distance of 0.8m
-On the second test, the catapult was put above a chair with a height of 1.30 feet
and threw the ball at a distance of 1.8m
-On the final attempt, the catapult was put in a table with a height of 2.40 feet
and threw the ball at a distance of 3.6m
The catapult reached a minimum of 0.8m and a maximum of 3.6m.
