1. PRAGMATISM
It is an educational philosophy that learning should be influence by one’s life and
growth. It involves learning through experience and not simple ideas
2. IDEALISM
Learning through intellectual process, the truth can be found through reasoning,
intuition and divine revelation.
3. REALISM
It pervades all the creation and it is an underlying unlimited and ultimate force
which focuses on overall mind and matter. It emphasizes on aims and principles
of education than on models, aids, and devices. The emphasis in subject matter.
4. NATURALISM
It stands for the doctrine of “follow nature” in education. A good education can be
had only by a direct contact with nature.
5. ESSENTIALISM
The aim is to instill students with essentials of academic knowledge. It enacts a
back-to-back basis approach.
6. EXISTENTIALISM
The existential methods in the classroom requires a balance in which both
teachers and students as human beings preserve its identity.
Learning of growth and development as a teacher is important, especially when
developing their lesson plans. It would be wise for us teachers to have a thorough
understanding of human growth and development before teaching others. We, teachers
should not let the students perform exercises they cannot do physically. Activities should
appropriate to the student’s abilities that’s why it is important for us teachers to
understand or learn about growth and development.
It is an act requiring all elementary and secondary schools to adopt policies to prevent
and address the act of bullying in their institutions to stop any violence among students
regarding on repeated use by one or more students of a written, verbal or electronic
expressions or physical act, gesture or any combination. Now a day’s students are
aggressive to make such violent actions and reactions.
Changing aspects of educational reform in the basic education as a means of reducing
poverty and improving national competitiveness.
