Five (5) years after graduation, Human Resource Management graduates of the BSBA program shall:

First Exam Chapters 1 – 2 Multiple Choice Questions At the end of the lessons, you are expected to master the
(70% of the exam) definitions of corporation, corporate governance, agency theory
in corporate governance, government regulation, corporate social
responsibility and ethical behavior as well as [to] explain the
fundamental principles of corporate governance, and the
implications of government regulations.
Second Exam Chapters3 – 5 Multiple Choice Questions At the end of the lessons, you are expected to enumerate and
(70% of the exam) explain the internal foundations as well as the external
institutions of corporate governance; to explain the different
factors affecting corporate governance structures following
different models of governance; and, to elaborate on the
principal-agent specific issues and many other agency problems
in corporate governance, as well as relate the importance of
external institutions to improve corporate governance.
Third Exam Chapters6 – 7 Multiple Choice Questions At the end of the lessons, you are expected to trace how the
(70% of the exam) concept of corporate social responsibility has evolved into what it
is at present; to explain the basic premises, relevance and
arguments favoring or against CSR; to describe ethical decision-
making process and the issues involved in social screening of
investments and corporate green-washing; and, to discuss CSR
issues in international business and corruption involving MNCs as
well as the initiatives purported to deter large-scale corruption.

Final Exam Chapters 8 – 9 Multiple Choice Questions At the end of the lessons, you are expected to distinguish
(100% of the exam) different types of institutional investors and explain their
importance in corporate governance; to explain cross-listing and
the different motives involved in it; to identify global corporate
governance organizations as well as address basic questions
regarding investment promotion and facilitation by the
government including the subject of foreign direct investments;
to state the key features of Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and the
reasons for its enactment; and, finally to determine the
challenges confronting institutional investors.

19. POLICIES AND GUIDELINES

a. Attendance shall be checked from the first regular class meeting. Students with absences exceeding the nine (9) allowable absences
shall be DROPPED.
b. A validated student identification card must always be worn by students while attending classes.
c. Cheating, along with any form of dishonesty, shall be subjected to disciplinary measures/ sanctions.
d. Valid examination permits are required to be presented on scheduled examinations.
e. If the student failed to take the examination as scheduled, he/she must secure an approved Request for Special Exam from the
Department Head’s Office within 10 days.
f. Term requirements shall constitute a Comparative Study of Governance Models and a Case Presentation, but on collaborative basis.
g. Base-15 grading policy is applied.
