QUESTION #2: Discuss the reasons why you decided to choose ECE as a profession

ANSWER #2: Technology has impacted almost every part of modern life, including education, healthcare,
civil development, and corporate procedures. Nowadays, software gadgets have become customary due
to the pandemic, locking us away from social and face-to-face interactions. As technology advances, my
view of the machines and devices around me gets even more complicated. As a person who is always
curious about almost everything, I decided to discover and understand them. Yet, as I began to acquire
information, my curiosities and interests kept getting broader. That is when I learned about electronics
and how complex these could be. I decided to choose ECE as a profession because it improves my
knowledge and aids the learning process by requiring us to clarify and sort out concepts and
information, examine source material, and apply critical judgment, among other things. Electronics
encompasses a vast range of applications that make our lives easier and more fun, such as computers,
generators, televisions, motors, radios, and so on. They enable us to see, hear, and converse over long
distances and do tasks more quickly and efficiently. During the nineteenth century, when Alexander
Graham Bell invented the telephone and Guglielmo Marconi invented the radio, no one could have
predicted that these two separate technologies would combine to create another fantastic product
which is the cell phone or smartphone, which is now a part of everyone's life. Electronics and
Communication Engineering is one of the fields where you can learn almost everything there is to know
about science. We could learn about electronics, as well as a few electrical and computer science
fundamentals. The most delightful aspect is communication. Despite many people not pursuing this path
due to some concerns, I chose this to become the professional I always wanted to be.
QUESTION #3: Discuss why you have chosen TUPV in leu of other schools offering the same course

ANSWER #3: The Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas or TUPV has been one of my dream
schools ever since my elementary days. During that time, I desired to be like my father, who is a field
engineer. He taught me about computers in my early days and gave me a pathway on what future I
wished to have. As I grew up, I became more interested in gadgets and technology, how these work,
function, and make our daily lives more efficient. In my third grade during elementary, I transferred to
the current location I am right now, which made me lose sight of choosing the school I wanted in my
previous homeplace. But then, another track opened up for me. After researching schools that I would
attend in the future near where I am right now, the TUP-V got my attention with the color red on the
logo, wherein that time, was my favorite color. As time went by, I knew more about the prestigious, elite
school and focused my aim on that particular place. The TUP-V provides engineering and technological
advancements that would be ideal for me. Now that I am one of the TUPVians, it is an honor to be a part
of this university that will help me develop and build my hopes and ambitions.
