by leading one's life with presence and personal mastery. Learning to be

2ND MAJOR ASSESSMENT
Being a citizen of the worlds biggest democracy it is not only our right but a responsiblity to elect
the right set of people to administer the functioning of the country.Only those who perform their

d uty towards the nation have the right to raise their voices against the system. It is our duty to vote
for our representatives.Casting vote is the most effective medium of communicating our grievances
about the system. In recent years, corruption, goondaism and malpractices have grown to a great
extent in all spheres of life.Politics has not remained untouched either. But then people we choose to

run the government one from among us.

In recent years, with growing political corruption, people are being driven away from voting as they term all
politicians the same.People neglect their responsibility which shows their social mind set.People fail to
understand that to run the country they need to elect, relatively good candidate to run the country.
Unfortunately, the trend of not voting is evident mostly in educated class. As against this, the less educated
or the illiterate make it a point to cast vote. But they are also easy prey to bribe by politicians with the
maximum number of illiterate casting vote. There are strong possibilities of tainted and corrupt leaders
being elected to run the country.

It is high time the educated lot realizes that better people when elected can reduced the level of
corruption and malpractices in the system.
So instead, of just putting blame on the system people should come out and vote, exercise their right and express their
views. By casting your vote you would help elect a good body which will be in public interest.
Democracy in our country will be effective only when people will vote wisely.Right to vote is someone's privilege in order to
choose the right leader to lead locally and nationally. This is given to everyone so that they can able to choose someone they
like to pilot the country. Thus, we should be accountable with our vote because this might result to progress or regress of

o r nation.

We should think carefully who the right leader does fit on the position because the decide the fate of the country. The first

time I vote I was just like any other with the mentality of "who will be the next leader is still the same a corrupt

government.I admit that the first time I vote at the age of 18 I accept money from the candidate who ran on a certain
position. The mentality I have during that time is so raw that's why I accept the money or vote buying they say
Throughout the years, I realize that the countries progress is so slow and corruption is still in the government. So if we
want to progress of this county we should not elect someone who will betray the country and its people.
It's so shame that there are politician like that. This coming election I do make sure to do
background check every person who run in the position.I will vote for someone who has the heart
to serve the country.I will not vote for someone who became the government their family business.
A true leader that touches the heart even if the corner of the country not just for someone who
show off in the places where high population are locate.
I am a voter.I hold accountable on my vote and the future of the country lies to our vote. This time I
make sure to choose the right leader to lead the country.A person who's action unite the people and
inspired many. I will vote for a leader that the record is transparent so that we can assure that
corruption is not present during his/her administration. I will vote for someone who favors the
interest of many and always think the best. This coming election we should make it happen.

ACTS.

line with the principle that a public office is a public trust, to repress certain
acts of public officers and private persons alike which constitute graft or
corrupt practices or which may lead thereto.

A. Persuading, inducing or influencing another public officer to perform an

act constituting a violation of rules and regulations duly promulgated by

competent authority or an offense in connection with the officials duties of

the later, or allowing himself to be persuaded , induced , or influenced to

commit such violation or offense.

public official and by that he.
mingled with his authority in other branches. It is considered violationon his acts to persuade
and be persuaded by committing an act.

contract or transaction between the government and any other party.

Where in the public officer in his official capacity has to intervene under the law. The power that
every public servant have must not be used for his personal interest but for the interest of all, as we

official shows there interest and create a violation.

employment in a private enterprise which has pending official

business with him during the pendency there of or within one

year after its termination.

compromise in his term to have a contract with the government it shows
that by doing so the family member can gain a backing that will solidify their
position in the company.

money will go should be properly liquidated and accessed by people

in order this kind of untoward behavior. Being able to access the

government data funds and liquidated report this will allow to

identify who is taking advantage of the budgetary fund of the

specific budget.

As for many of us generations, we only can say that we must better the life of

every people by creating a law that raise the salary of gavernment official

and giving rewards for their good deeds because, sometimes we forget that

they are human being too. As for those charge's we must implement a more

strict law that will be severe that 15years imprisonment and don't give them

special treatment because criminal is always a criminal people suffer while
